1. Eligibility Criteria Home
i. Category Motokar Vintage: Motokar eligible categorized as Vintage car is the car has reached the age of 50 years from the date issued by the manufacturer.
ii. Category Motokar Classic: Motokar eligible categorized as a classic car is a car that has reached the age of 25 years from the date issued by the manufacturer, including car known as 'collectors item'.
2. Vehicle category only car eligible to be considered and, for vehicles other than motor car category are not eligible. Other requirements to be followed to obtain the status of car Vintage / classic for the purpose of reducing the Motor Vehicle License fees (LKM) are as follows.
i. The car has reached 25 years from the date of original registration, including the car import categorized Vintage / classic tarlkh but must prove registration and country of origin concerned and considered eligible to apply.
ii. Car that has a high market value, the same value as antiques.
iii. The current state of the car must be level such as new vehicles (mint), no rust, paint and chrome 'shiny and clean, in the sense in conditions such as' showroom'.
iv. Car must be in 'roadworthy 'and all systems are functioning properly on it.
v. Car must have features specifications, form of the body and its main components such as the current produced by the original manufacturer.
vi. Modification is allowed only for an increase in the brake system, electrical system and fuel system for accepted safety factors only.
vii. As the basis measure major, applicants must have more than 2 pieces of the car is registered in the name of its own.
viii. Conditions car chassis and engine numbers must be clearly readable and not be disturbed.
viiii. Owners must submit a letter / certificate support of Vintage and Classic Car Club Royal Malaysia or other clubs that are recognized.
ivi. Car must be inspected by the Technical Officer / Inspector Motor Cars RTD Headquarters / State / Branch concerned.
3. How to Apply
i. Application and inspection car Vintage / classic can be made through:
* Engineering Division, RTD Headquarters

* The Enforcement Division RTD State / Branch.
i. The documents should be included / taken with the car during inspection:
* Copy of car registration card (and original)
* Copy of at least two (2) registration card in the other car registered in the name of the applicant (and original)
* Copy of identity card of owner / applicant
* At least four (4) pieces of photos from the front angle, rear side and the 'steering' I 'dash board'.
* Letter / certificate Vintage or classic car club of recognized.
4. Inspection Motokar
i. For the purposes of inspection car Vintage / classic, the applicant shall submit the required documents together with the car to be inspected.
ii. Inspection of car Vintage / classic will focus on identifying the originality of the car and meet the conditions above.
iii. Characteristics inspection:
* Inspection of car identity, ie confirmation number and engine number and chassis must not be disturbed Sarna as dicatitkan in the car registration card.
* Inspection of originality Vintage cars / classic includes the following components:

5. Production Certificate Status Motokar Vintage / Classic
i. All applications for examination and report the status of car Vintage / classic made in the offices RTD State / Branch shall be forwarded to the Technical Regulatory Division, RTD Headquarters for processing and re-evaluated before it is recommended to the Director General of Road Transport.
ii. Car as the car passed the Vintage / classic Certificate will be issued for the purpose of reducing the Motor Vehicle License (MFI) of 90% for Vintage car and 80% for the classic car will be issued by the Regulatory Technical RTD Headquarters and signed by the Director General PengangkutanJalan.
iii. Certificate status car Vintage / classical issued shall be renewed every 3 years or when the business name change or conversion made car registration number which is done in accordance with the foregoing. Car owners are required to make application to determine the status of car Vintage / classic by the conditions specified above.
6. Enforcement Instructions
i. Enforcement should be implemented to ensure that all motor car that has received qualifying car Vintage / classic does not make adjustments to the 'steering' and 'rim' and other components that remain if it is real. Feasibility and status of car Vintage / classic will be canceled immediately if the modifications made to the car, and owners need to make a payment rate of Motor Vehicle License (MFI) at the rate of the original.
